RePay International is part of the Tendris Holding group of companies and we share the Tendris philosophy that socially and environmentally sustainable activities are most effective when they are commercially viable and market-driven.

Tendris has been a driving force behind innovative products and services with a sustainable character since 2002. It has pioneered the supply of green energy and the development of LED lighting, as well as the use of carbon offsetting for travel and credit card services.

RePay earns proceeds from the sale of licensing rights for the use of the ClimaCount carbon offset scheme to financial services providers. The carbon compensation programmes used by the ClimaCount scheme to offset carbon emissions do not generate any revenue for RePay and we guarantee that the ClimaCount scheme is independent and reliable.

RePay’s financial success is due first and foremost to the fact that our ClimaCount carbon offset scheme delivers what it promises. This, together with an innovative business model and a long-standing partnership with Visa, has made ClimaCount a success both in terms of profitability and consumer value in the Netherlands, where the scheme has been running for many years.

The stage is now set for our European and global plans. The ClimaCount scheme has recently become available across Europe as part of Visa Europe’s Commercial Card scheme, and an exclusive license has been granted that will make it available to consumers in the United States of America in 2009.
